Perhaps you have noticed, today we have a new look…
COVID has changed everything; the way we live, the way we work and the way we interact with each other. It is also very clear that markets have changed significantly and the way we sell in those markets has changed.
Some COVID-related changes have been good. On a personal note, I’m dancing more. (My first career was dancing in a ballet company.) During lockdowns there was nothing for me to do except take virtual ballet classes and dance in my living room. Now, we are in studio again… So much better! I am dancing 4 or 5 times/week.
As we enter what is, hopefully, a post-COVID world, many people are asking themselves, “What’s next?” I am one of those people.
These last two years gave me time to think about what we have been doing here at ColdCallingResults.com. It gave me time to think about where we had been and where we were going. We, too, have changed.
That is why today we are announcing that ColdCallingResults.com is now Salesology®.
Salesology® recognizes that we have all changed and been transformed. Markets have changed and transformed. Selling has changed and transformed. No one sells the way they did pre-COVID. Prospects are different. Clients are different. We are all different. Now it is time for what is next.
Salesology® will be a larger conversation about sales and the sales process. And, about how we communicate as human beings. COVID has made us in some weird way less caring about each other and at the same time more human and connected. After all, we’ve been meeting in each other’s kitchens and living rooms for two years.
Because work has blended in so many instances with “real life,” it’s possible to see and be seen more authentically. No more hiding behind business façades. It is possible to be more open and more real with prospects and clients. After all, you’ve invited them into your home and they have invited you into theirs. This enables more real and productive sales conversations. The truth is that few people have patience these days for artifice.
The focus of my work has always been communication. As Salesology® we will be looking at how we communicate, today, in this new selling environment. Salesology® will continue to provide, as we have for so many years, sales strategies, prospecting and sales training and coaching and sales tools that work for all that has changed in today’s world. In addition, in the coming months we will be launching new initiatives to help businesses grow sales faster, more easily and more profitably in today’s business and sales environment.
